Results:
long-lasting colours that respects the hair’s natural structure.
Shiny, bright and soft hair.
Good coverage of grey hair.
Allergy test:
Oxidation dyes can cause allergic reactions (common to all oxidation dyes),
therefore it is always advised to carry out a sensitivity test before applying
the dye to a client’s hair for the first time.
Apply small amount of the hair dye to the inside of your arm or behind your
ear two days prior to dying your hair. First, you'll need to wash the area where
you want to apply the hair colour with soap and water. Next, apply a small
amount of permanent hair colour to the area and allow it to dry. Rinse off the
dye and keep watching the spot for the next 24 hours. If you see any rash or
other problems in the test spot, you should not use that type of hair colour on
your hair, as it may cause a scalp irritation or rash.
Hair Colour test
You may want to first test a patch of hair to make sure that the colour is
suitable. Choose a small section of hair behind the ear or near the nape of the
neck where the colour change will not be too noticeable. Apply the hair colour
according to the directions and wait as indicated then rinse the hair, allow the
hair to dry and check the colour. If it is the correct colour, apply the hair
colour to the rest of your hair to match the test section. If the color is not
correct, select another shade.
How to use:
1) Use gloves
2) Mix the ARTX dye tube with the indicated amount of peroxide (see table below) in
a non-metallic container. The mixture must be even.
3) Apply to dry hair using a fine brush – Start in the areas with more grey
hair and continue in the following order: roots, hair strand length and finally
the ends. It is important to comb the hair repeatedly with a thick comb to make
sure the final tone is even.
4) Leave for 30 minutes or the for the length of time indicated below.
5) Remove by and rinsing the hair with plenty of warm water, and rub gently
until the water is colourless. Wash the hair immediately using an
ACID pH

hair.

Tone Selection:
It is very important to accurately select the tone to be applied, and the
peroxide to be used to guarantee success. Before selecting the tone, take into
account the natural hair colour, the degree of lightening required and the
amount of grey hair.
Therefore:
Let’s see the difference between our natural hair colour and the intended
colour (use the natural series colour chart for this). Depending on the result
of this comparison, the colouring can be as follows:
COVERING (DARKENING) PROCESS:
When the desired colour is the same or darker than the colour of the hair to
be tinted.
LIGHTENING PROCESS:
If the desired colour is 1, 2 or 3 tones lighter than the colour of the hair
to be tinted.
POST BLEACHING PROCESS:
If a bleaching process has been applied beforehand, because the degree of
lightening required is very high.
GREY HAIR PROCESS:
When the percentage of grey hairs is less than 30%, in other words, when the
hair is predominantly dark, use a lighter tone than the desired colour. When the
percentage of grey hairs is greater than 60%, use a darker tone that the desired
colour.
HIGHLIGHTERS:
M-1 Grey: Accentuates ashen colours.
M-3 Green: Neutralises the red colour - producing ash grey.
M-5 Red: Neutralises the green colour - producing ash grey. Highlights
reddish and copper colours.
M-6 Blue: Neutralises yellow and golden colours - producing ash grey,
highlights ashen colours.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE “LINEA PASTEL” TINTS
These tints are applied after bleaching.
Depending on the hair bleaching degree and the final result to achieve, use
as follows:
If the bleaching degree obtained is not high and the final result desired
is lighter than the one reached with the bleaching, use 40Vş oxidant in 1:2
proportion (1 dye and 2 oxidant) and apply it on the highlights.
Processing time: 30 minutes.
If the bleaching degree obtained is high enough and it is the desired one, but you
want to make the highlight brighter and the colour is richer, mix the 20Vş
peroxide with the dye in t1:2 proportion: (1 dye and 2 oxidant)
and apply it on the highlights.
In this case, we have to pay special attention to the fact that the hair is
very porous after the bleaching so we have to pay attention to the processing
time. We recommend that you check the blending process every 5 minutes.
processing time: 15 minutes
Other considerations:
- To prevent scalp stains, redness and itching during colouring process,
consider using the new innovative product
Clean Skin , just add half a tea
spoon to the mixture of Tint and the developer, it does not interfere or affect
the tinting process.
- If you wish to mix your own proportions of tint and developer, and the
resulting mixture was too runny, you may wish to consider adding few drops of
Hair Dye Thickener
, this will thicken the mixture and prevent dripping.
- To ensure that the hair colour remains intense, shiny, glossy and healthy
looking, do not hesitate to recommend to your clients using
